You should consider getting a car battery checked if it is more than four years old or if you have noticed that it is slow to start. When it comes to how your battery recharges itself, going an extended distance gives it a better and greater charge. However, if you take repeated short trips, then your battery could undergo an electro-chemical imbalance. Failing to use your car and your battery for an extended period of time can result in a dead battery or leaving you stranded. This is especially true during cold winters and hot summers.

After just a few years, your battery starts to lose its ability to charge itself and you do not want to end up stranded on the side of the road. Because of this, if it is more than four years old, you should get it checked to make sure there are no issues. We can run some quick and simple tests to tell you whether or not it is time to replace.
